It will cover the topics of Accelerator Mass Spectrometry, Nuclear Astrophysics, Nuclear Reactions and Nuclear Structure. Bringing together experts and the community using accelerated ion beams and developing state-of-the-art instrumentation, this Symposium will provide a forum to build cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary links.

Location

The Symposium will be held on the Australian National University campus, Canberra. The weather in April in Canberra is usually excellent.

Starting and finishing times

Scientific program

The program will consist of morning overview talks aimed at a wider audience, and short contributed presentations in dedicated venues for each focus topic in the afternoons.

Symposium topics will include:

  • Accelerator Mass Spectrometry
  • Nuclear Astrophysics
  • Nuclear Reactions
  • Nuclear Structure

Proceedings

Refereed proceedings of all oral presentations will be published through EPJ Web of Conferences, and will be accessible for free download to researchers world-wide. This is indexed by ISI Thomson and Scopus, in the conference proceedings category.

Organisers

The Symposium is organized by the Department of Nuclear Physics, ANU.
